Over the last couple of months I have been working on quite a few different projects from different periods, here is a unit of Germanic Fanatical Warriors from Victrix plastic 28mm miniatures for "Infamy Infamy" rules set from TooFatLardies.
I have based them on thin metal sheets covered with Milliput putty, the base is also made from a metal sheet with tiny magnets glue in place and sealed again with a very thin layer of Milliput putty. This keeps the figures in place and allows for the removal of casualties.

That's amazing how strong the hold is with those magnets! The figures look great!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike, there are strong enough to be able to pick up the group of figures by holding onto the figure on the outside but still be able to remove casualty figure from the large base. There is a series of tiny magnets glued in place that cover most of the base. It does take a bit of time adding the milliput and ensuring a flat surface for the figures bases to sit on .
