BRITISH AIRBORNE 28mm

Finally finished my British Airborne, these are lovely 28mm metal figures from Warlord Games. I initially purchased a 1/3 of the figures at MOAB bring and buy and later  purchased the rest of the force directly from Warlord games. These figures have been sitting on the lead pile since 2018 waiting for some attention.

Two Senior Leaders on Hex bases 

Snipers

Medic and Radio Operator

Junior Leaders on square bases with SMGs

Infantry with SMGs

2"Mortar with 3 crew, modified the first figure by removing his SMG and replacing it with a rifle .

Piat team

Vickers Machine Gun

Vickers with 5 crew

Use Green Stuff to add gun straps to all the weapons and change some of the figures caps into helmets.

BRITISH PARATROOPER JUMP OFF POINTS

Here are my scratch build JOPs for my British Paratrooper project. 

I used lots of odd items to construct them from a plastic insert found in a led pencil for the tubing, bits of sprues, infantry left over kits ,thread, cloth, milliput and green stuff.

I also redone one of the JOP when one of my gaming mates suggested to portray  the canister from the movie a Bridge too Far were the only successful drop canister that was retrieved was loaded with red Para Berets.
