SCATTER TERRAIN: GREEN HOUSE, CHICKEN COOP, DOG KENNEL

More scratched built, scatter terrain, a Green house, chicken coop and three dog kennels.
All made using the humble match stick some MDF, and PVA glue.

completed buildings.
All five buildings are based on 3mm MDF , the roofs are made from corrugated paper,
The plastic animals are from "Pegasus farm animals".
GREEN HOUSE.

I used the larger BBQ matches for the main structure of the glass house, then moved onto using the thinner matches for the walls.

normal thin matches used for the walls.

The notches in the match sticks help to seat them securely on the frame work.

Option to scratch in texture on the surface of the matches to simulate wood.

Used a old tube of Vallejo paint to make the pots and bowl for the dogs and chickens.

Aerial view of the internals of the glass house.
To further strengthen the matches in the roof structure a thin layer of super glue can be placed on the surface.

Primed with can of Primer.
Painted the building, trimmed plastic sheets and glued them in place on the building and last of all added the flock.

CHICKEN COOP

A thin layer of super glue maybe added on to the surface of the corrugated paper to stiffen it.

Some pet fly screen added.

Completed, painted and flocked with the chooks glued in place.

DOG KENNELS

Kennels and chook coop prior to flocking.
The painting of the animals as can be seen was a bit of a rush job as I was on a dead line to finish these pieces for the CANCON event.

Cheers John
