MOAB 2023

Another successful 3 day Chain of Command event at MOAB this year here in Sydney, Australia. 12 players split into 2 teams, Germans vs US/British battling "Across the Rhine" over 6 table for 2 days followed by 2 big Chain of Command tables with 6 players on one and 4 players on the other on the third day.

Much time was spent setting up the tables, playtesting and prepping  the scenarios by Steve, Chris and myself. I supplied the terrain.

This MOAB I was also able to visit the Lard Zone and experience some of the other TooFatLardies games, Mark's Sharp Practice table, Michel's What a Cowboy table and Peter's Cold war game .

As a bonus we scored the best gaming room at the event known as the "the Lounge". The room was isolated from the crowds in the main halls which meant that we could hear and talk to each other in a normal voice, it had its own aircon, a mini kitchen and grand views over the other gaming tables.

THE FIRST 2 DAYS

THE THIRD DAYS BIG CHAIN OF COMMAND GAMES

GAMING WITH THE MAHDIST ON MARK'S SUDAN TABLE  the Mahdist managed to charge at the British and capture the camel train.

I ALSO PARTICIPATED WITH MICHEL'S WHAT A COWBOY set in the Australian outback against the Ned Kelly game.

Cheers John

    1. Thanks Matt, there will be a Lard Zone at Cancon with WW2 CoC , one table with German Paras landing against French troops scenario and another table with a Kelly's hero type game with 4 players. These will be hosted by Steve and I will supply the terrain for them. '
