GERMANIC SLINGERS
Modification were required to transform these Victrix Germanic figures into slingers. Back in 2023 I put together some Baleanic Victrix miniature slingers. (https://iagsmgm.blogspot.com/2023/04/early-imperial-roman-auxiliary-archers.html) These are sold in a pack with 12 figures, I used the spare slings to equipped the Germans.
I first cut off the right hand off all the Germanic figure and in one case both hands, I then cut the right arm off the Germanic figure and carved it, to refit into a new position. Next step was to glue the hands with the sling from the Baleanic figures onto the Germanic arms, once dry, I added Green stuff to fill in any gaps.
After priming them with black primer, I noticed I had forgotten to model carry bags for their stones which I accomplished with Green stuff putty.

GERMANIC FANATICAL WARRIORS
Over the last couple of months I have been working on quite a few different projects from different periods, here is a unit of Germanic Fanatical Warriors from Victrix plastic 28mm miniatures for "Infamy Infamy" rules set from TooFatLardies.
I have based them on thin metal sheets covered with Milliput putty, the base is also made from a metal sheet with tiny magnets glue in place and sealed again with a very thin layer of Milliput putty. This keeps the figures in place and allows for the removal of casualties.

EARLY IMPERIAL ROMAN CAVALRY
Taking advantage of my holidays I am painting and modelling different items and periods for the hobby, here are my plastic 28mm Early Imperial Roman Cavalry from Victrix miniatures for INFAMY INFAMY, lovely plastic figures.
It's my first time painting horses which I found a bit of a challenge but after doing a couple I managed to get into the swing.
