MOAB 2025 images

Images from Chain of Command MOAB 2025

The image says it all, 2 days of fun and challenging gaming with great sportsmanship from all the players.
The results, as expected the Germans managed to funnel more Germans from the UK corridor compared to the US corridor which only allowed a small portion to escape.
God willing looking forward to MOAB 2026

MOAB 2025

Tomorrow at  MOAB, here in Sydney Australia,12 players will battle out the FALAISE POCKET 1944 FRANCE.

Can the Allies encircle the fleeing Germans and be victories or will the Germans rear guard action allow the bulk of the their forces to escape the encirclement to fight another day.

All we be reveled on Sunday night.

Here's a sneak preview of the 6 gaming tables I have put together (all scratch built) for the event and the final set up at the MOAB venue, as usual we have the prime position overlooking the main hall.

Big thanks to Steve McGuigan and Chris Hersey for the playtesting and putting together the paper work for the event and we are all excited to be playing the new version of Chain of Command.

 See you there😉

I took advantage of a fabric sale (cost me $35) at my local Spotlight store and constructed 2 more gaming mats for the event.
I also needed more trees and made up 20 trees following my own tree tutorial https://iagsmgm.blogspot.com/2018/07/modeling-trees.html .

STUG III G

With the introduction of Chain of Command 2 rules, a great little gem has been included into the Germans National characteriscs called  'Pakfront'  this enables a low profile vehicle such as a Panzerjager, Stug or JapdPanzer to deploy directly from a friendly JOP with its Command dice and 3 Chain of command pips.

A nasty surprise for unexpected Allies.

Hence I grabbed my Stug model from Rubicon Models and prepared it for battle at MOAB.
